Alexandria is my home town and I am happy to have been able to back here to raise my family.
After I graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis and taught school in Apple Valley for five years (until 1977), it seemed logical to come back to the lakes which I love.
My husband, Tom taught high school English for 28 years, and then decided to join the Counselor team and help me market real estate full time. We bought our own business and have our offices on the third floor of a great old building that we love. Our two children, Andy and Ellie are all grown up; they are trying out different careers, and will probably come back to Alexandria to take over for us when we get too old to climb the stairs!!
We enjoy all sports, love to golf and ski, sail, snowmobile, ice fish, hunt, ride bikes, motorcycle; – you name it – when we get the time. One of our favorite things is to cruise the “Chain of Lakes” in our restored Chris Craft Sportsman that we often use to bring clients to the lake homes that we market. Cruising is a great mix of business and pleasure, a wonderful way to meet new friends and introduce them to the great life here in our little town of Alexandria.
